Weldon gets a big swirly
Gosh, so much in the news, so little time.
First off, obviously is the news that Rep. Curt Weldon is under investigation by the FBI. If you read through these reports — especially the original report from the McClatchy newspaper chain — investigators seem to have pulled together a pretty strong case on influence peddling. The Inquirer’s second-day story confirms independently some of the reporting while the Delco Times, lacking the Washington D.C. bureau, plays it hard in the denial aspect of the story without really doing it well.
